Holy Grail Product Alert: BIO Beaute by NUXE

In my opinion, I have never been blessed with great skin. Ever since I was a young teen, I have always wanted to have perfect skin. I tried endless amount of skin care and nothing seemed to work besides Cetaphil. I loved Cetaphil then because it was so simple. However,  my skin has changed, as everyone's skin does and Cetaphil no longer suited my needs. My skin used to be very dry due to acne treatments; however, now it is significantly less dry, but still dehydrated. Although my skin is considered more "normal" and clear now, it tends to lean slightly towards combination skin during the warmer months, with the occasional hormonal breakouts. I was curious about Cetaphil's range for combination - oily skin; however, my skin was not considered oily enough for this skin care system. I had researched online about organic skin care which truly intrigued me after I learned about all the benefits associated with natural products.

I was browsing Shoppers and noticed this BB cream on display. I had never heard of this brand, BIO Beaute by NUXE, prior to my previous shopping trips. They only had two shades available, fair and medium. I had read on various sites how NUXE is considered one of the best skin care lines available on the market and for $24, I could not pass up this product. I was impressed how this was a yellow tinted BB cream. Normally, BB creams tended to be neutral - pinky tones  with a slight gray cast or even orange - not really for me. So when I saw this product was more yellow tinted, I was sold. Finally, a product that matched my undertones. I picked up the fair shade which was not really fair in all honesty. In my opinion, this shade is more light - light medium; however, it did blend seamlessly on my inner forearm which is fair compared to my face. Also, I loved how this was an organic product.

This product contained peach extract and mineral pigments. These pigments acted as mattifying agents and the peach extract helped soothe the skin. I thought there would be Silicone or Dimethicone, but there were none! For me, that was truly a relief because I could not handle large amounts of Silicone in my products - clogged my pores and broke me out. After I came home, I took off my face makeup and applied this product onto my skin. It blended seamlessly and felt amazing on my skin. I did not feel like I had makeup on my skin. Even my mom commented how lovely my skin appeared. My redness was concealed and my skin stayed matte for the rest of the day, approximately 8 hours later. 

This new product inspired me to purchase a new moisturizer from the same line. I was given sample of the "Soothing Emulsion" for sensitive skin. This particular moisturizer was light weight and thin, but very hydrating, not greasy at all. It was targeted for normal to combination skin consumers - perfect for me. Just like the BB cream, I fell in love with this moisturizer! It laid on my skin so beautifully. In fact, it did not disturb my face makeup and helped soothe any acne present on my skin. This moisturizer was worth the $30.

Together, these are a winning combination and I highly recommend these products. They really helped transform my skin. I have received complements on my skin now more than ever since I first tried these products. I purchased these products around two months ago and have no regrets! Since I purchased these products, I have used them every day. I feel people should invest more in their skin care than their makeup products because if your skin is good, your makeup will look amazing. I look forward to buying these products again and trying more products from BIO Beaute by NUXE.
