Eggs in a Basket - RECIPE

Hey Everyone!


In today's blog post, I am sharing my Eggs in a Basket recipe. This is a super easy and quick meal to make. I love making this for breakfast, brunch or lunch with a salad.

Eggs in a Basket

Materials:

• 1 non-stick frying pan
• 1 spatula to flip with
• measuring spoon
• 1 plate
• 1 cutting board
•  a round drinking glass or round cookie cutter

Ingredients:

• 2 eggs
• a pinch of salt
• a drizzle of avocado oil
• two pieces of toast - any type is ok

1. Lay out two pieces of toast onto a cutting board

(do not toast bread)

2. Cut out center using a round drinking glass rim or a round cookie cutter.

(save the pieces of the left to garnish or use as croutons*

3. Heat up non-stick frying pan at medium heat with a drizzle avocado oil. Once heated up, place two pieces of toast onto pan and make sure there is a sizzle. 

4. Crack two pieces of egg into each bread hole within pieces of toast.

5. Cook until lightly golden brown and to your preferences.

I hope you enjoyed this quick recipe! I thought I had already posted this on my blog but realized I had not. This is great dish to make and can easily be customized to suit any individual preferences. For myself, sometimes I serve this dish with Guacamole.
